While I'll be sad to see him go when the time comes, David Duchoveney will be phasing himself out of next season's X-Files.The storyline will have Agent Mulder abducted while Scully and Actor Robert Patrick's FBI character take up the manhunt.
Personally, I'm stoked - I like Patrick and I expect he'll make a good replacement.
This news also has Carter indicating that the series will extend a few more years with no end in immediate sight. Good news for people like me - X-Files is bar none my favorite show on television.
I'm looking forward to it - what about you folks?
