Random Poll: Just how big is big momma?

    a) Big momma is so big, she can get group insurance rates.
    b) Big momma is so big, she gets clothes in three sizes: extra large, jumbo and oh-my-god-it's-coming-towards-us!
    c) Big momma is so big, when she gets on the scale it says 'to be continued.'
    d) Actually, big momma is so big, when she gets on the scale it says 'One at a time, please!'
    e) Hey... uh - the movie is about 'Big Momma' not 'Yo Mama'. Get your head out of the toilet.

I just stumbled into a killer new little PCDCD goody. It's a COM port remote control for Sigma Designs DVD Decoder Cards. And it's only 20 bucks. Give it a look see: http://www.sigmadesigns.com/product_remote_ctrl.htm I'm gonna have to pick me one of these up. I've already got their decoder card and I'm all plugged into both the PC and the TV, DD reciever. This remote is the only piece of the pie that was missing. For 20 bucks it's worth it I'd say.

Well folks, just got the remote this week.....
Frankly, I'm a little disappointed that it only works with the RealMagic hardware player. I would've liked to have been able to use it with WinDVD or PowerDVD. What's missing from this package is the ability to program or customize the remote so that when you push a certain button, it's the equivalent to a push of the 'n' button or whatever......

Also, I have to switch COM ports every time I restart WINDOWS
    This is not happy.....

    That's too bad.

I have a card that could use the remote. Dave, did you ever get the remote? If so, what'd you think of it?

Just to let you know Sean.....
The remote is a godsend as long as you don't mind using DVD Station.....I do believe however, that I saw a utility out there that will allow you to reprogram the buttons to represent different actions.....For example, you can set up the remote to start PowerDVD instead of DVD Station, but nothing else works....these little utilities apparently allow you to get them to work, which would be aweomse......if I can find it, I'll post the location later folks......

I'd suggest using nicks rather than real names since "Sean" was not involved with this thread until just now, and now your intended recipient is a mystery...!
