    c) Big momma is so big, when she gets on the scale it says 'to be continued.'
    d) Actually, big momma is so big, when she gets on the scale it says 'One at a time, please!'

  • In other DVD Release News:
    • Look for the IMAX top money-maker, Everest, to make its way to DVD soon.
    • Look to Miramax for some reissues of some interesting titles. Robert Rodriquez's 'From Dusk Till Dawn' and Tarantino's 'Pulp Fiction' are looking to get all jazzed up with the additional extras they originally lacked. Both deleted scenes and Behind-the-scenes footage is what we should look forward to. Also, Tarantino's follow-up flick, Jackie Brown, should include some feedback from the director once it set's sail for our storage shelves.
    • More later.

     5/3/99 - Star Wars Update:
    • Here's the strongest confirmation yet of a DVD release of the original 'Star Wars' films. The producer of the upcoming Star Wars 'The Phantom Menace' film, Rick Mcallum, went on record to say, "I know George has very special plans for the DVD." Rick mentioned that the DVD release will be an event like no other for that medium and that the DVD "will be beautiful when it comes out in the future". When asked about the time frame for the arrival of these films on DVD, Rick answered with, "Unfortunately not for about another year and a half but they'll have a lot of great material on them."

The President of Lucasfilm, Gordon Radley, spoke of the delay with getting these films to DVD stating that George Lucas had "something special" in mind for their release.
