Now I understand that fox is one of the nipickers when it comes to what they want us to see but I've been a fan of the alien series since '70 and I've been waiting for a better format that will bring out the details. I'm also waiting to see if they will ever be rereleased with added footage that was cut or missing (cue aliens, you french bastards!). I've read that the special edition of aliens was released on laserdisk and after reading the details from many sites, I almost wanted to get a laserdisk but decided that the format is way inferrior and too much for my budget. Please bring them home, and include resurrection please!?
