Additional Comments:
It's a darn shame that Fox doesn't know a good series when it has the chance to get one, because this movie was the perfect pilot for one (especially considering at the time FOX's X-Files was on and Sliders was at its peak). The movie was: entertaining (most important!), it had much better visual effects than its BBC inspiration, action, adventure, romance, humor, and it was able to let new viewers in on what Doctor Who is about without insulting the intelligence of the old school die-hards. Paul McGann was awesome as the Doctor's 8th persona, and should be brought back for more Doctor Who movies! (maybe direct to video/DVD?)
