Random Poll: Just how big is big momma?

    a) Big momma is so big, she can get group insurance rates.
    b) Big momma is so big, she gets clothes in three sizes: extra large, jumbo and oh-my-god-it's-coming-towards-us!
    c) Big momma is so big, when she gets on the scale it says 'to be continued.'
    d) Actually, big momma is so big, when she gets on the scale it says 'One at a time, please!'
    e) Hey... uh - the movie is about 'Big Momma' not 'Yo Mama'. Get your head out of the toilet.

    DVD WISH LIST
    [Doctor Who (1996)]

    Status Wish List FAQ

Submitted by Stephen A. Kozak Jr. on March 09, 19100 at 20:26:38:
    DVD Title: Doctor Who (1996)
    Studio: Fox/Universal TV (?)

    Content Necessities:

It was a TV movie so it probably only comes P/S, surround sound, closed captions, subtitles, THX certification would be nice

    Extras:

Commentary by the director and cast (Paul McGann, Daphne Ashbrook, Sylvester McCoy, and Eric Roberts), behind the scenes of production documentary, a documentary (or two) on the Doctor Who phenomenon, animated menus, isolated music track, chapter search

    Disc Value:

    $20-25

    Additional Comments:

It's a darn shame that Fox doesn't know a good series when it has the chance to get one, because this movie was the perfect pilot for one (especially considering at the time FOX's X-Files was on and Sliders was at its peak). The movie was: entertaining (most important!), it had much better visual effects than its BBC inspiration, action, adventure, romance, humor, and it was able to let new viewers in on what Doctor Who is about without insulting the intelligence of the old school die-hards. Paul McGann was awesome as the Doctor's 8th persona, and should be brought back for more Doctor Who movies! (maybe direct to video/DVD?)
