    Status Wish List FAQ

Submitted by Mike on July 15, 1999 at 16:42:44:
Studio: 20th Century Fox (in UK at least)

    Content Necessities:

    Subtitles, letterbox, closed captions

Documentary on how they made Ireland look so much like Scotland. Mel Gibson feature on winning all his awards for the film and on being honoured, by replacing face on monument at Stirling Castle of William Wallace to resemble his face, option of soundtrack which is breathtaking and behind scenes on stunts, especially those involving the horses and the fact that none were harmed during filming.

    Disc Value:

$29.99 at least for one of the best films of the last decade and a small price to pay to hear Mel say, "they may take our lives but they will never take our freedom".

    Additional Comments:

Although not appreciated in some parts of the world. (such as my neighbouring country)Braveheart has in itself helped many people find out about their history, such as Americans who never knew where some of their ancestors came from and to give worldwide publicity to the kilt.
