Feature: Enjoy hidden features consisting of over an hour of additional footage.
Procedure: This is performed on Disc 2. From the main menu, access the 'Data Console' section. Highlight and select the computer's light by moving to the right after highlighting 'Main Menu' on the next screen. After the animation and the ship has come free of its carrier (make particular note of the code sequence on the computer screen: 7-4-Enter), select 'Main Menu'. If you didn't notice before, you will now. The ship is floating freely, but will only do so for a short several seconds . Enter the necessary code information with your remote (7-4-Enter) while the ship is floating. If you miss the opportunity, repeat the procedure and give it a shot again. Entering the code information can be done a few different ways depending on the player you have. 1) Enter 7, then 4, then Enter. 2) Hit the 10+ key followed by 7, then 4, then Enter. 3) Hit the 10+ seven times, then 4, then Enter. 4) Select 7, then Enter, then 4, then Enter, followed by Enter again. One of these procedures will take you into the ship. Once inside the spaceship, have at the extra features found there. You can make accessing the features easier by entering 7-2-Enter and 7-3-Enter utilizing the procedure for your player.

    Editor's Notes:

    Editor's Notes
The phrase "ID4" was invented due to undisclosed copyright problems.
The characters "R" and "2" on the Area 51 doors are a reference to R2-D2 from Star Wars.
One of the buildings destroyed is a cinema which advertises "Coming Soon: Independence Day". A large 'ID4' plaque set in stone can be found out front of 'Lil' Ale'e'Inn' in Rachael, Nevada. The closest town to Area 51 measuring only 9 miles in distance between the town and the base's flight tower. Rachael is home to 80 people.
