Movie Summary:
[TV Classics, Western]
One of television's long-running westerns, "Bonanza" was the archetype of the "property" western that dominated the genre during the '60s. Set in Virginia Sity, Nevada, it told the story of the Cartwrights, owners of a nearly 600,000 acre ranch, The Ponderosa, named for the ponderosa pines growing there. Vol. 2 - Badge Without Honor (#35): A man named Gerald Eskith comes to town claiming to be a Deputy Marshall and wants to take the Cartwrights' friend Jason Blaine to San Francisco to testify against the Murdock gang.
