Movie Summary:
[Action/Adventure]
Columbia Airlines' flight 409 is on its way from Washington D.C. to Los Angeles when it is struck by a small plane, leaving a gaping hole in the nose of the giant aircraft. Captain Stacy is critically injured and his co-pilot is killed, forcing chief stewardess to take the controls. Back on the ground, a daring rescue mission is planned: former jet pilot Alan Murdoch is to be lowered into the yawning hole of the 747 to land it safely.
